the tomb that leads to treasure!

Jazzy speaks:
I was just sleeping inside him. Now he has made me a superhero, he also has given me wings. First of all I don’t like wings, now he wants me to travel time with some bald mutant professor from a comic series! To America it seems! Everything happens in just words! Knock it off dude. Make me cool! Being a Samurai in some period-based story sounded cool…. but why go to America now? I say it’s Pointless! Do you hear me? Please stop procrastinating and send me somewhere, it’s boring in Attarabad and that pokka vaai baba is killing me L

Author speaks:
Hey watch it! I got busy with few things and, you know we are yet to buy our own laptop. And we are write our stories amidst all the silly things that bug us! Anyways, I’ll start now and don’t worry, Nippon first, America later ;)
Poochi speaks:
Avanunga rendu paer mattum paesikkaraanunga, inga oru naai irukkae athukku kathaila ethaavathu oru role kuduppomnu ethavathu thonuthaa paaru??? (For those who don’t understand this passage- it’s just some dog called Poochi, which the author calls a sidekick for our hero and he is crying over the inattention he gets despite having his name in the blog’s title. just don’t mind him. Let’s go to the story. I don’t have a role for him now. Let him come later :P)
Back in the tales of Attarabad:
Right here I would like my music director to give Bob Marley’s buffalo soldier in an Indian version in the background.
The three x-men along with Baba and jazzy reached Attarabad, Huskinapura to be precise, hoping to convince Jazzy’s dad. The need for the song in the background now came handy giving a filmy feel. Long way down the one and only paved road of Huskinapura, Jazzy’s dad and grand-dad came along, riding on burrah and durrah.
(p.s. readers are requested to imagine the song running on the background for better effect and just replace America with India for Indian version :P )
After a brief introduction they all sat down for refreshments. Jazzy didn’t want to talk about professor’s purpose of visit on an empty stomach. After going through several rounds of totti pots, masala chicken leg-pieces and few burpps, jazzy decided to talk about it. Even before he started, Baba jumped in to explain things.
Sukumaara (Jazzy’s dad) took his son away from the pack to talk about something in person. He was ok about sending him but had a little doubt about the time travel thing. After a while they decided to have slight change in plans.
“My son can come along with you guys, but not right now. He has some tasks to be carried out here. After he finishes off his tasks he could come along” said Suku.
“How long is that supposed to take?” asked professor x.
“Not long, may be a year?” shrugged Sasi.
“K then, we’ll go back and come after a year. For now just show us around your world” said prof x.
An agreement was reached and everyone went to bed. A week of travel around Attarabad has been planned. The royal horse festival scheduled 3 days from that day would be a good entertainment for the mutants. First day they were to visit the temple complex and the fort of Huskinapura.
The inscriptions on the stone wall of the centre stage got the mutants’ attention.
“What does that mean?”  Wolverine was prying to know what the Devanagari script on the stone wall read.
“Here lies the blood and sweat of thousands who dared to unite this land”
Sukumaara translated the script.
“Blood and sweat? It sounds like something of historic importance. What lies beneath that? Is it a tomb?” Wolfe Inquired.
“That’s our wealth, the whole of what we got after the war, a few hundred years ago. Gold, tonnes of them” winked Sukumaara.
“What war? War stories will be amusing. I had been in wars back in future. The world wars I & II and the Vietnam war” Wolfe reciprocated to the farmer and former warrior.
“It was called ‘The war of gold rush’. You must have seen the sandal river while coming down the ghats. It was once called the gold river and the silt contained a whole lot of gold. A washer man accidentally discovered it. Soon the news spread out and many greedy men came down trying to drive us out of our land and get hold of the treasure. Our clan, the Maaras stood up and fought them all. There were only battles till that day, when a massive army from up north marched in to conquer us. Luckily, this fort was raised well in advance, anticipating intruders through the passes in the ghats. Also, their big army was made diminutive, thanks to the difficult and narrow passes in the ghats. That helped us defend our fort. Further down along the river we built a dam and a silt separator to extract all the gold, well most of them. All that we got then was buried in a secret chamber and a tunnel that starts here, leads to it. We have never opened it.
Our ancestors made a vow never to open it, unless everyman in the kingdom is starving. And the vow is likely to be broken by the now ruler of Attarabad, Mitsubishi. He belongs to the Theera clan, who fought along with us. While we took farming as a means they remained warriors. There used to be a counsel to guide the king. He dissolved it and took control of everything. The power corrupted him and he has become a tyrant now. He follows no rules, mindlessly engages in all sorts of evil things and he torments the poor peasants. On top of all that he is planning to open the treasure, which we are not supposed to. Some body has to stop him” Sukumaara enlightened Wolfe on the situation.
“Mitsubishi sounds Japanese. What about his name?” Wolfe inquired.
“Japan? Is that how they call that land in future? We call it Sooryapura now. It’s near Chingmingpura. The sun first rises there in the beginning of the day. He is a samurai warrior and that is his samurai name” said Suku.
“What does Sasi has to do in this?” Wolfe wanted to know Sasi’s role here.
“Sasi has to become a samurai himself. Training him here in Attarabad would attract Mitsubishi and he might harm him. So I want him to go to the land of rising sun to get trained.” clarified Suku.
